Our History

Founded in 1936 by Victor C. Durran, The Geelong Brush Company began as a quality manufacturer for small and specialised industrial markets.

During the early years, the company took advantage of improving technologies and entered a wider and larger sector of the Australian brushware market.

By 1975, Victor’s two sons Jim and Ken rapidly expanded its operations into every state of Australia to become the largest volume manufacturer of brushware products in Australia.

Today, the family-owned business continues to manufacture high quality brushware products in Australia led by Jim’s son, Ross Durran. Geelong Brush remains committed to local manufacture by taking advantage of world’s best practice technology and production processes.
